If a pattern appears, choose one small adjustment. You might return to a familiar meal timing, keep caffeine earlier, or add a note about training days when appetite changes. Keep the rest of the routine reasonably stable for a short review period.

Do not use a wearable and food log to test a medication change, an extreme restriction, or an aggressive training plan. If you have a medical condition, a history of disordered eating, unintentional weight change, persistent fatigue, or significant digestive symptoms, use professional guidance rather than a self-directed experiment.

The methodical use of a wearable journal fits this approach. Define the question, keep the record light, compare similar days, and treat the result as a prompt for a safe decision rather than proof of a hidden mechanism.

For a simple recovery review, record:

  1. Approximate meal and caffeine timing.
  2. Any unusually late, large, or disrupted meal.
  3. Alcohol or supplement changes when relevant.
  4. Whether appetite was usual, lower, or higher.
